Salary and Perks

The salary for the post of Staff Nurse (Unani) is in the pay scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- with a grade pay of Rs. 4600/-. This corresponds to the revised pay scale level-7 in the pay matrix, which ranges from Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 1,42,400/-. This means that the initial basic pay of the selected candidates will be Rs. 44,900/- and they will also get other allowances and benefits as per the government rules.

Application Process

• Visit the official UPPSC website: https://uppsc.up.nic.in/.
• Click on the “Recruitment” option on the homepage and then click on “Apply Online”.
• Click on the Apply Button of Recruitment Number – ‘A-8/E-1/2023’.
• Register yourself to get the OTR (One Time Registration) number (ignore if already done).
• Enter the OTR number and fill the application form with the required details.
• Pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or E-Challan. The fee is Rs. 125 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, Rs. 95 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates, and Rs. 25 for PH candidates.
• Upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other documents as per the specifications.
• Submit the application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
• You can also make corrections in your application form till January 11, 2024 by paying an additional fee of Rs. 501.

The exam pattern for the post of Staff Nurse (Unani) is as follows:

The exam will be of multiple choice type and will have negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks for the exam are 40% for General/OBC/EWS candidates, 35% for SC/ST candidates, and 30% for PH candidates.
