If you are interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course in Uttar Pradesh, you need to appear for the UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination (UP B.Ed JEE) conducted by Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. The UP B.Ed JEE is a state-level exam that offers admission to B.Ed courses in various government, aided, and self-financed colleges and universities in Uttar Pradesh.

The exam pattern for UP B.Ed JEE 2024 is:

  • The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
  • The exam will consist of two papers, each of 200 marks and 3 hours duration.
  • Paper 1 will have two sections: General Knowledge and Hindi or English Language. Each section will have 50 questions of 2 marks each.
  • Paper 2 will have two sections: General Aptitude and Subject Ability. Each section will have 50 questions of 2 marks each.
  • The subject ability section will be based on the subject you have studied in your graduation or post-graduation.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.

The syllabus for UP B.Ed JEE 2024 will cover the topics from the following subjects:

  • General Knowledge: Current Affairs, History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Culture, Sports, Awards etc.

  • Recent passport size color photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm) scanned copy.
  • Scanned copy of index finger impressions of both hands.
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s signature (in running hand).
  • Aadhaar card, personal details, educational qualifications documents.
  • Final year marksheet and degree certificates of qualifying exam.
  • No need to send hard copy of application form to Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
