UPSC Civil Services IAS / IFS New Exam Date Notice 2024

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 on its official website upsc.gov.in. The CSE is a nationwide competitive exam that recruits candidates for various services such as Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and others. The CSE consists of three stages: Preliminary, Main and Personality Test.

The UPSC has also announced the exam dates and application process for the CSE 2024. The online application will start from February 14, 2024, and will end on March 5, 2024. The candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- (except for SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates) by March 5, 2024. The candidates can also make online corrections in their application form from March 6 to March 12, 2024.

The UPSC has notified a total of 1056 vacancies for the CSE 2024 and 150 vacancies for the IFoS 2024. The candidates have to choose their preference of services and posts at the time of filling the application form. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Main exam and the Personality Test.

The candidates who are interested in applying for the CSE 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the UPSC. The candidates must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962.
