Exam Pattern and Syllabus for PTET 2024 Exam
The PTET 2024 exam will be an offline, pen-and-paper based test consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. It will be a 3-hour bilingual (English and Hindi) exam with no negative marking. The exam will have 4 sections – Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency (Hindi or English) each with 50 questions carrying 3 marks.
The syllabus will test candidates on Mental Ability (reasoning, judgment, creativity), Teaching Aptitude (interest, attitude, communication skills), General Awareness (current affairs, history, geography, polity, economy) and Language Proficiency (vocabulary, grammar, comprehension) in the chosen language. The exam aims to assess the overall aptitude and subject knowledge required for the teaching profession.
Admit Card for PTET 2024 Exam
The admit card for the PTET 2024 exam will be issued online on the official website of PTET 2024 before the exam date. Candidates will have to download their admit card by entering their application number and date of birth. The admit card will contain the details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, exam date, time, venue, instructions etc. Candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card.
Result and Counselling for PTET 2024 Exam
The PTET 2024 result will be declared online on the official website, where candidates can check their marks, rank, category and qualifying status using their roll number and date of birth. A merit list will be prepared based on the result for the online counselling process.
