The Chandigarh Police Department has released the Answer Key for the exam on 20 February 2024, on its official website chandigarhpolice.gov.in. You can download your admit card by entering your login credentials and take a printout for future reference.
The Chandigarh Police Constable Executive IT 2024 recruitment is for filling up 144 vacancies in Group-C. The pay scale offered is Rs. 21,700 to 69,100/- (Level-3). The selection process consists of a written exam (Tier-I and Tier-II), a physical measurement test (PMT) and a driving test (for male candidates only).
The written exam for the Chandigarh Police will be conducted in a single session of three hours and will consist of two tiers.
Tier-I will have 100 multiple-choice questions on General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability, with each question carrying one mark. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I are as follows:
- General candidates: 40%
- SC candidates: 35%
- OBC candidates: 35%
- Ex-Servicemen candidates: 30%.
Tier-II will have 50 multiple-choice questions on domain specialization, specifically “IT Support” with each question carrying one mark. Only candidates who score the qualifying marks in Tier-I will be eligible for the evaluation of Tier-II.
