CBSE CTET JULY (Online Form) 2024

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 session on its official website. The CTET is a national-level exam conducted by the CBSE to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for classes I to VIII in various schools across India. The CTET is held twice a year, in January and July, as per the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The online application process for the CTET July 2024 session has started from March 7, 2024 and will end on April 2, 2024. The candidates who wish to appear for the CTET July 2024 exam can apply online through the official website of CTET.

The candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern and other details of the CTET July 2024 exam from the official website of CTET before applying. The CTET July 2024 exam will be held on July 7, 2024 (Sunday) in two shifts. The Paper I will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and the Paper II will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The admit cards for the CTET July 2024 exam will be available on the official website of CTET before the exam date.

Valid Period of CTET Certificate
The CTET Qualifying Certificate is valid for lifetime for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts one can take to acquire the CTET certificate. Individuals who have already qualified can also appear again to improve their score.
Eligibility (CTET) July 2024
Primary Stage (Class I to V)
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed, OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed, OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed, OR appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Graduation degree with 50% marks and B.Ed (Bachelor Degree in Education).
Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)
Bachelor’s degree (passed) OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name). Graduation with 50% marks and passed, OR appearing in the final year of a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). Graduation with 50% marks and passed, OR appearing in the final year of a 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).
