UP Civil Judge 2022 | Interview Letter 2023 – The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the results of the Civil Judge Mains Examination 2023. A total of 959 candidates have been declared provisionally successful for the interview, against the total 303 vacancies of the examination.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
- Age Limit: 23 to 35 years as on 1 July 2023. Upper age relaxation applicable as per rules.
UP Civil Judge Mains 2023 Exam Pattern
The mains exam comprises the following 5 compulsory papers:
- Paper I – General Knowledge
- Paper II – Hindi Essay Writing
- Paper III – English Essay Writing
- Paper IV – Criminal Law & Procedure
- Paper V – Civil Law & Procedure
Each paper is for 3 hours duration and carries 150 marks. Paper I has objective type questions while the remaining papers are subjective.
Final Selection Process
The final selection will be based on candidate’s aggregated marks in the mains exam and interview round.
Salary for Civil Judge in UP
The pay scale for Civil Judge post is Rs. 27,700 – 44,770 per month as per the 7th Pay Commission.
