Railway RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Edit / Correction Online 2024

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 5696 ALPs across various zones of the Indian Railways. The online application process has started from 20-01-2024 and will end on 19-02-2024. The exam date and admit card will be notified soon on the official website of RRB.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Railway RRB ALP 2024 recruitment consists of the following stages:

• Computer Based Test (CBT): The CBT will have two parts – Part A and Part B. Part A will have 100 questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics and General Science. Part B will have 75 questions on relevant trade. The duration of Part A is 90 minutes and Part B is 60 minutes. There will be negative marking of 1/3 for each wrong answer.
• Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): The CBAT will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify in Part A of CBT and have opted for ALP. The CBAT will have five test batteries to assess the aptitude of the candidates. The candidates need to secure a minimum score of 42 in each test battery. There will be no negative marking in CBAT.
• Document Verification and Medical Examination: The candidates who qualify in CBT and CBAT will be called for document verification and medical examination. The candidates need to produce original and photocopies of all the required documents such as educational certificates, caste certificates, identity proof etc. The candidates will also undergo a medical examination to check their fitness for the post.

• Register yourself by providing your name, email, mobile number, and other details.
• Login with your registration number and password.
• Fill the online application form with your personal, educational, and other details.
• Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and other documents as per the specifications.
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM/Female/Minorities/EBC) through online mode or offline mode (SBI Challan or Post Office Challan).
• Submit the online application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
