Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the leading public sector banks in India, has recently released a notification for the recruitment of 1025 Specialist Officers (SO) in various disciplines. The online application process for PNB SO Recruitment 2024 will start from 7th February 2024 and will end on 25th February 2024.

PNB SO Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process for PNB SO Recruitment 2024 will consist of two stages:

• Online Written Test: The online written test will be of objective type and will have multiple choice questions. The test will have four sections: Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge. The total marks for the test will be 200 and the duration will be 120 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The candidates who qualify the online test will be shortlisted for the interview.
• Personal Interview: The personal interview will be conducted by a panel of experts from PNB. The interview will assess the candidates’ suitability for the PNB SO posts. The total marks for the interview will be 35 and the minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for general candidates and 35% for reserved candidates. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the online test and the interview.

The admit card will have the details of the exam center, date, time, roll number etc. The candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam center.
