NTA Uttarakhand HC Jr. Assistant/Stenographer Admit Card 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a recruitment notification for filling up 139 posts of Junior Assistant and Stenographer / Personal Assistant in the High Court of Uttarakhand. The online application process has started from 25th January 2024 and will continue till 22nd February 2024. The candidates who are interested and eligible for these posts can apply online through the official websites of NTA and Uttarakhand High Court. The details of the eligibility criteria, selection process, exam pattern, syllabus, application fee and salary are given full notification below.

Selection process

• Written Exam: Objective test on 17th March 2024 covering General Knowledge, General English, General Hindi and Computer Knowledge with 100 questions carrying 100 marks, lasting 2 hours. Negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.
• Typing Test/Steno Test: Qualified candidates undergo a typing (25 marks) or steno (50 marks) test. Passage must be typed or transcribed within the given time. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for General/OBC, 35% for SC/ST.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates verify original documents and certificates, including age, education, category, domicile and identity.
• Medical Examination: Candidates passing document verification undergo a medical examination by a board of doctors appointed by Uttarakhand High Court ensuring fitness as per court standards.

Salary

The candidates who are selected for the posts of Junior Assistant and Stenographer / Personal Assistant in the Uttarakhand High Court will get the following salary:

• For Junior Assistant: Rs. 21700-69100 (Level-3)
• For Stenographer / Personal Assistant: Rs. 29200-92300 (Level-5) and Rs. 44900-142400 (Level-7)
