The Indian Army has announced the Agniveer Agnipath Rally 2024, a recruitment drive for the Agniveer scheme, which allows the candidates to join the Army for a short service of four years. The scheme was launched in 2023 to attract young and talented individuals who want to contribute to the defence of the country without making a long-term commitment.

The candidates will have to appear for a Common Entrance Exam (CEE) which will be held tentatively in April 2024. The CEE will test the candidates on general knowledge, mathematics and logical reasoning. The candidates who clear the CEE will undergo physical and medical tests to check their fitness and eligibility for the Agniveer scheme.

  • 10+2 in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English. Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 40% in each subject. OR 10+2 pass in any stream plus 1 year ITI course.

Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical) All Arms
  • 10+2 in any stream with minimum 60% aggregate marks and 50% in each subject.

Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass
  • Class 10th pass from any recognized board.
  • Minimum 33% marks in each subject.
Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass
  • Class 8th pass from any recognized board.
  • Minimum 33% marks in each subject.

  • Running 1.6 Km in 5 Min 30 Second
  • Pull Ups 10 Times

Group II

  • Running 1.6 Km in 5 Min 45 Second

Benefits of Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024

  • Indian youth between 17.5 to 23 years of age can apply for the Indian Army Agniveer scheme 2024-25.
  • Agniveers will serve in the Indian Army for a period of four years.
  • Candidates who complete the Agniveer program will receive 10% reservation in recruitment for Assam Rifles after 4 years.
