Eligibility Criteria
For Navik (General Duty):
- Age: 18-22 years as of August 31, 2023
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics at least 50% marks in aggregate
- Physical Standard: As per ICG guidelines
- Medical Standard: As per ICG guidelines
For Yantrik (Mechanical):
- Age: 18-22 years as of August 31, 2023
- Educational Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution with at least 60% marks in aggregate
- Physical Standard: As per ICG guidelines
- Medical Standard: As per ICG guidelines
Application Process
Candidates can apply online through the ICG website- www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.
The application form will require the following information:

Candidates will need to pay an application fee of INR 300 for general category candidates and INR 0 for SC/ST candidates.
Examination
The examination will be held in two stages:

- Stage II: This will be a physical efficiency test (PET) and a medical examination.
