The Indian Coast Guard an Armed Force of the Union has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) in various branches for the 01/2025 batch. The online registration will start from 15-02-2024 and will close on 06-03-2024 (Extended).

The candidates who are interested and fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of the Indian Coast Guard.

The CGCAT (Batch 2025) selection process has two stages:

Stage I (April 2024):

  • Preliminary selection based on academics
  • Mental Ability Test (MAT)
  • Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT)

Candidates who qualify prelims receive admit cards for final selection.

Stage II (May 2024, Noida):

  • Psychological Test
  • Group Task
  • Personal Interview
  • Medical Examination

Final merit list is prepared based on marks in qualifying exam and performance in Stage II. List is displayed on Indian Coast Guard website. Candidates are informed via email/SMS.
