Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 56th October 2024 Batch Last Date Extended 2024

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 56th Batch Course 2024 is one such course in which Short Service Commission (SSC) is awarded to NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders and Battle Casualties of Army Personnel. Online applications for this course can be made from 08-01-2024 to 06-02-2024. This course will start in October 2024 and there are total 55 posts in it, which include 50 NCC Men and 5 NCC Women.

Shortlisting of Applications: Indian Army’s Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defense (Army) has the right to shortlist the applications. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their center allotment through email and SMS. Candidates will have to login to the website and select their SSB dates, first come first served. Later, Selection Centers will also allocate dates.

SSB Interview at Selection Centres: Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for SSB interview, which will be held at the Selection Centers of Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (Punjab). SSB interview call-up letter will be given only through registered email and SMS. The allocation of Selection Center will be at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting and no request for any changes will be entertained.

Two-Stage Selection Procedure: There are two stages in the selection process. Those candidates who clear Stage I can go to Stage II and those candidates who fail in Stage I will be sent back on the same day. The duration of SSB interview is five days, details of which can be seen on the official website of Directorate General of Recruiting.

Recommendation and Joining Letter: Only those candidates recommended by SSB interview and those who are medically fit will be given joining letter for training as per merit and vacancies, if they fulfill all the eligibility criteria. This selection process involves candidates having to go through a series of interviews, medical examinations and final recommendations and then receive joining letters for training, depending on their performance and available vacancies.
